The temperature dependence of the magnetic isotope effect
Description
Although the temperature dependence of kinetic mass isotope effects are well described and understood theoretically in terms of classical or quantum mechanical (i.e. tunneling) models, until now the effect of temperature on the kinetic magnetic isotope effect has been unknown. We report the first investigation of the effect of temperature on the kinetic magnetic isotope effect. These results will be discussed in the context of a physical model
