The influence of tropical cyclones on Tianwan nuclear power plant

Description
In this paper, the data of tropical cyclones affecting Lianyungang city from 1949 to 2018 were analyzed statistically. Typical case showed that TC can pass Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in different directions or disappear in the neighborhood. The strongest TC influenced Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant was DAMREY (201210). The center of tropical cyclone DAMREY passed near Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, and the wind speed intensity did not exceed the once-in-a-century analysis and evaluation design estimation of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant.
