Study of generator excitation system-UNITROL 6800 in Chinese AP1000 unit

Description

UNITROL 6800 excitation system is used in Haiyang 1 and 2 units (AP1000). The paper briefly introduce the functions and components of the excitation system. It also analyse the system design characteristic about hardware, software function, and configuration. Finally, some advices about system operation and maintenance are given. (authors)
