Magnetic muon spectrometer

Description
A magnetic spectrometer for measurement of muons of extensive air-showers is described. The spectrometer contains wide-gap spark chambers and scintillation counters. Data on measurement of determination accuracy of muon energy, which at limiting measurable pulses constitutes Psub(max)=1190+-120 GeV/c, are discussed. Angular accuracy (σsub(psi) approximately (3-8)x10-4 rad) of measurement of muon track has been determined
