Theoretical study of the two-photon absorption in photochromic fulgides

Description
In the present study we report on the quantum-chemical calculations of the two-photon absorptivities (δ) of photochromic indolylfulgides. It is shown how to maximize the δ values by the slight modification of chemical structure by appropriate substituents. The problem of applicability of two-level picture is also addressed
