The contribution of adsorption and incoherent cross-sections to neutron reflectivity profiles
Description
Adsorption and incoherent neutron cross-sections contribute to the refractive index as an imaginary component. Calculations are presented in this report on the effects of the inclusion of a 1/V adsorption and the incoherent cross-section of hydrogen on simple reflectivity profiles. Detailed calculations of the neutron reflectivity in the region of a Briet-Wigner adsorption resonance are described. (author)
