Graft polymerization of vinyl pyridines by the use of radiation
Description
In the process of radiation-induced graft polymerization of vinyl pyridine monomers onto a backbone or trunk polymer which is at least partly swellable, increased yields are obtained by using a solvent system which includes at least 5% by weight of a compound or compounds of formula NHR(CH2)sub(n)OH, R being methyl or hydrogen and n being from 2 to 6.
