Correlation of element contents with ionic radii in rocks
Description
A great number of lithophile elements can be determined by neutron activation analysis. A graphic representation of the results is suggested, in which elements are included which were determined by other methods. Chondrite-normalized concentrations on the one hand and ionic radii on the other are recorded and the data of the elements of each chemical groups are combined by curves. An unexpected behaviour of Th and Cs becomes clear and the interpolation of element contents is possible. (author)
