Synthesis and magnetic properties of solid solutions of Gd4Bi3-Gd4Sb3

Description
Present work is devoted to synthesis and magnetic properties of solid solutions of Gd4Bi3-Gd4Sb3. Results of synthesis and studies of crystallochemical and magnetic properties of solid solutions Gd4Bi3-x-Sbx (x=0.3-2.7) of Gd4Bi3-Gd4Sb3 system are considered. The crystallochemical studies shown that solid solutions Gd4Bi3-x-Sbx (x=0.3-2.7) crystallize in cubic structure anti-Th3P4 type. The values of Curie paramagnetic temperatures of solid solutions and magnetic moments of Gd3+ are defined. (author)
