Strong interactions
Description
Strong interactions are introduced by their more obvious aspect: nuclear forces. In hadron family, the nucleon octet, OMEGA- decuplet, and quark triply are successively considered. Pion wave having been put at the origin of nuclear forces, low energy phenomena are described, the force being explained as an exchange of structure corresponding to a Regge trajectory in a variable rotating state instead of the exchange of a well defined particle. At high energies the concepts of pomeron, parton and stratons are introduced, pionization and fragmentation are briefly differentiated
Abstract (French)
On introduit l'interaction forte par son aspect le plus manifeste, les forces nucleaires. Dans la famille des hadrons, on considere successivement l'octet des nucleons, le decuplet du OMEGA-, et le triplet des quarks. Apres avoir place les ondes de pions a l'origine des forces nucleaires on decrit les phenomenes a basse energie en interpretant la force non pas comme l'echange d'une structure bien definie, mais comme l'echange d'une structure correspondant a une trajectoire de Regge dans un etat de rotation variable. A haute energie, on introduit le pomeron, le parton et la physique des stratons, on distingue de facon elementaire la pionisation et la fragmentationAdditional details
