Calculation of the efficiency of a cylindrical detector for thermal neutrons with due account taken of the influence of the wall
Description
Numerical calculations of the energy dependent efficiency of two types of detectors for thermal neutrons are reported. It is found that a relative nomalization error of up to 5% might be present in 'corrected' spectra if only one vanadium measurement is made and the 'wall effect' is ignored. (Auth.)
