Method for preparation of crystalline barium diborite
Description
A method for the preparation of crystalline barium diborate consisting in the interaction of boric acid, potassium hydroxide and amorphous barium borate at the ratio of the components, mass %: 3.6-10.8; 15.7-27.4; 3.3-10.0 respectively, the rest is water. The given method permits to increase the product yield in terms of boron from 12 % to 19-21 %, its purity being preserved. The product corresponds to the formula BaOxB2O3x4H2O. 2 tabs
