Low beta accelerator for xenon

Description

The xenon accelerating structures fabricated at BNl are described. Low level measurements yielded a Q value of 1600 and effective shunt impedance of 50 megaOMEGA/meter. For the 20 KW of rf available an energy gain of 400 keV appears attainable
