Pulmonary nodule enhancement in subtraction CT and dual-energy CT: A comparison study

Description

Highlights: • Subtraction CT subtracts a motion-corrected pre-contrast from a post-contrast scan. • Nodule enhancement is quantitative significant higher in subtraction CT compared to dual-energy. • Nodule enhancement is significant better visible for observers in subtraction CT compared to dual-energy CT. To compare nodule enhancement on subtraction CT iodine maps to that on dual-energy CT iodine maps using CT datasets acquired simultaneously.
