An energy conception for Austria

The author is head of the economic policy division of the (non-federal) Board of Trade. In the chapter entitled 'Comments on the nuclear power problem' he emphasized the economic disadvantages for Austria of nuclear energy abandonment, in a future world where nuclear energy provides for 30% of primary energy and up to 80% of the electricity supply, and pleads for a 'politics without illusions'. 11 refs.
