The R + D academics transfer in Spain. The main challenge for the innovation

European, and specially Spanish society, has lately increased analysis into the industrial and commercial applications of scientific research, due to the fact that competitiveness is determined by the ability to access and successfully use the newest technology available. However, there is still a long way to go until a Spanish system of transference is achieved that works efficiently and that leads to economically significant results, transferable to a market of excellent scientific productivity in our universities, research centres, hospitals and public research institutions.
