Description

The effect of magnetic disturbances on variations of the spatial electron concentration distribution in middle latitudes of ionosphere is studied. The numerical calculations for determining the global distribution of the electron concentration variations at different ionosphere levels with regard for the effect of anisotropy of ionosphere conductivity and the structure of the principal geomagnetic field are carried out. The conductivity anisotropy essentially changes the structure of the disturbance field in middle latitudes. Accountancy of the real geomagnetic field singularities can lead to the latitudinal dependence of asymmetry of the studied variations. The maximum ionospheric disturbances are observed in high and middle latitudes, where there are latitudinal components of the convective current
