Description

We present a detailed beam dynamics analysis of a 3 MeV, 350 MHz, 30 mA RFQ for protons, using the beam dynamics code PARMTEQM. This includes detailed error analyses of individual and combined errors, on the basis of which we have derived tolerances on the ion source, fabrication and alignment of the RFQ, power supplies, etc. (author)
