Stochastic processor to collect and process analogue information

Description
We have described measuring part of multichannel analogue processor meant for experiments with cosmic rays at energies E0 =1014 -1016 eV at mountain levels. The processor operates using Monte-Carlo method for measuring charge area of current pulses. In measurement channels momentary values of impulse signal curve are compared to equi probable amplitudes of random reference signals. Then calculations are performed on event probabilities obtained. Measurement result of impulse charge is given directly in digital way. Relative error of measurements depends basically on number of tests. Measuring channels are built mostly on digital integral schemes without expensive and non-reliable analogue elements. This is one of the main advantages of the method. Currently there have been designed: - white noise generator basing on operational amplifier; - random event generator (REG) built on abstraction of temporary equi probable areas in Poisson flux; - (REG) generates the flux of random impulses of equi probable amplitudes; - measuring channel with the measurement frequency of about 3 MHz
