Description
The authors report the use of the fast Fourier transform (FFT) in the direct Fourier transform method (DFM) in Computerized Tomography (CT) reconstruction. Phase corrections are needed in the CT reconstruction. In order to eliminate the image distortion from the basic DFM, Padding and band-pass filters are used in the improved DFM. Finally, some reconstructions from simulated projections and several experimental results are given
