ASYPCK2, an extended version of ASYPCK

The program ASYPCK (CPC Program library file AAJA) has been used extensively to obtain asymptotic solutions of the second-order differential equations of the type encountered in electron-ion and electron-atom scattering (for example in conjunction with the programs IMPACT and RMATRX. With increased usage a number of improvements and additional facilities have been developed and incorporated in this new version of ASYPCK, known as ASYPCK2. New features include a version for use on CRAY machines, a double precision version for use on IBM machines and an automatic setting of the Fox-Goodwin parameter MFG. (orig.)
