Green function of transport equation for the simplest models of cosmic ray propagation

Description

The propagation of cosmic rays in the interplanetary space was investigated. The spectral representation for the Green function of the nonstationary equation of anisotropic transfer of cosmic rays was obtained with an allowance for the convection. The problem is solved for the case where the particle diffusion coefficient is independent of coordinates and momenta. It is shown how the expression obtained for the Green function is generalized for the case where the adiabatic slowing-down of particles is taken into consideration
