Description
Samples of SBA-15 with different pore sizes were prepared using the structure swelling agent TIPB, in which the BSA and IgG proteins were encapsulated. Nitrogen Sorption Isotherm and Small Angle X - ray Scattering measurements were made in order to analyze the pore network and determine variations in the surface area and pore volume due to incorporation with the aim to study the filling of the pores. The data showed that the ordered pore network wasn't disturbed, the micropores were filled almost completely and also a remarkable decrease in surface area and pore volume, indicating a large filling of the samples with expanded pores.
