The status of technical research and development on servicing equipment and tools for steam generators
Description
This paper development of tube plugging and sleeving among the maintenance technology carried out in Japan will described. Especially outline of the laser welded sleeving will introduced. In addition, as the recent service technology we developed for example the equipments to remove sludge and scale accumulating on the tube support plate, and the equipments to reduce the refueling outage duration, the equipments to reduce the steam generator replacement outage and to decrease radiation exposure. 18 figs
