Novel complexes [M(DMF)6][Mo6Br8(NCS)6] (M=Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Cd2+): synthesis, structure determination, and properties

Description
The group of the new complexes [M(DMF)6][Mo6Br8(NCS)6] (M=Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Cd2+) was synthesized. The structure for the compounds with M=Co and Mn was identified by X-ray structural analysis (XRSA). The important features of the structure in the given isostructural complexes were discussed on the example of the cobalt-containing compound. IR spectra of all group of the compounds were analyzed, good agreement of spectroscopic and XRSA data was found. The complexes transforming in the MMo6Br8(NCS)6 salts suffer all molecules of dimethylformamide during heating, as it is shown by thermal gravimetric analysis. Magnetic properties bear point to weak interaction of paramagnetic cations
Abstract (Russian)
Синтезирована серия новых сложных комплексных соединений [M(ДМФ)6][Mo6Br8(NCS)6] (M=Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Cd2+). Методом рентгеноструктурного анализа (РСА) решена структура для соединений с M=Co и Mn. На примере кобальтсодержащего соединения рассмотрены важнейшие особенности строения данных изоструктурных комплексов. Координация лигандов NCS осуществляется через атом азота. Изучены ИК-спектры всей серии соединений, найдено хорошее соответствие спектроскопических данных с данным РСА. Методом термического гравиметрического анализа показано, что при нагревании комплексы теряют все молекулы диметилформамида, превращаясь в соли MMo6Br8(NCS)6. Магнитные свойства свидетельствуют о слабом взаимодействии парамагнитных катионовAdditional details
