Charged current π£π -16O scattering in the DIS region

Description
This is the first theoretical study to understand nuclear medium effects in the charged current induced deep inelastic scattering (DIS) cross sections off oxygen (16O) target. This work is relevant for the atmospheric neutrino experiments like HyperK and IceCube, as well as to the π£ΞΌ β π£π appearance experiments using accelerator sources. πβlepton production has been reported by various experimental collaborations such as OPERA, DONUT, SuperK, IceCube, etc., however, the reported events are with low statistics. Some promising future experiments like SHiP, DUNE, DsTau, FASER are aiming to study π£π - physics
