Description
Spatial resolution of X-ray emission from laser-produced plasmas is obtained by placing a 500 μm wire between the plasma and a slitless crystal spectrometer. The sizes of emitting regions of various spectral lines, as well as electron temperature and density spatial profiles are deduced for an Al plasma. (Auth.)
