Acute hematogenous osteomyelitis
Description
Increased medullary CT attenuation values were invariably recorded in affected regions in 7 patients with osteomyelitis. The results indicate that it is possible to detect bone marrow involvement of osteomyelitis by CT before the appearance of bony changes on routine roentgen films. (Auth.)
