Electrochemical methods for measurement of wall shear stress in two-phase flow

Description

The advantages of using electrochemical wall probes for measurements in two-phase flow are demonstrated. Bubbles and plug flow are characterized by signals obtained with single and double electrodes. Initial wall shear stress data (absolute mean value and fluctuations) determined by these methods are discussed

Abstract (French)

On montre l'interet que represente l'utilisation de sondes electro-chimiques placees en paroi pour des mesures en ecoulements diphasiques. On caracterise les regimes a bulles et a poches a l'aide de signaux recueillis sur des sondes simples et doubles. On presente les premiers resultats concernant le frottement parietal (valeur absolue moyenne et fluctuations)
