Description
Properties of ground states of finite nuclei are calculated in the chiral field theory using relativistic self-consistent Hartree approximation. The normal ground state of a finite nucleus is shown to exist in this case in contrast to the traditional point of view. Fermi surfaces, charge densities and r.m.s. charge radii are calculated for double magic nuclei using two fitting parameters
