Scope for improving resolving power in intensifying screens

Description
The paper discusses the factors governing the resolving power of an intensifying screen and the effects of them on the signal to noise ratio. The parameters are described for the new fine-grained calcium tungstate EU-VIK screens containing dye, which substantially improve defect detection by comparison with others
