Description
The superconducting ceramics Bi1-chiPbchiSrCaCu2Oy (0≤chi≤0.5) have been prepared by conventional powder solid state reaction. A zero resistance transition temperature at 105 Κ has been observed in the sample with composition chi = 0.2. The effect of Pb content on the superconductivity of the ceramics has been studied. The results indicate that partial substitution of Pb (chi≤0.3) for Bi enhances the superconductivity of Bi-oxide
