Solitary Alfven waveguide structures in a magnetized plasma

Description
A nonlinear Alfven wave structure with axial symmetry about the line of force of an ambient magnetic field is presented. The solitary wave forms a 'ring' shaped waveguide along the magnetic field line. (author)
