Study of interaction of germanium (4) hydrotriphosphate with alkali metal nitrate melts

Description
By the methods of complex thermal analysis during heating in the range of temperatures from 298 to 1073 K the character of thermal transformations in GeHP3O10-MNO3 systems, where M=Li-Cs, has been studied. According to the data of chemical, X-ray phase, thermal analyses and IR spectroscopy it has been ascertained, that in the above-mentioned systems in the process of nitrate transfer into molten state exchange reactions occur and alkali metal cation is substituted for triphosphate proton. In case of lithium and sodium nitrates double crystal triphosphate are the products of the interaction and in the rest cases - amorphous products, containing cations of the corresponding alkali metals are formed
