UV spectra of alkylmethylchalcogenides

Description
Empiric and theoretical analysis of methylethylchalcogenides MeXEt (X S, Se, Te) electron absorption spectra in the near UV range have been carried out. In the spectra of the compounds studied in gaseous phase two bands of the σ → σ*-type transitions are observed besides the bands of the rydberg nature, which in the MeXEt series change their places on the energy scale. A new reference of the absorption bands to electron transitions for the Me2Te is provided

Выполнен эмпирический и теоретический анализ электронных спектров поглощения метилэтилхалькогенидов MeXEt (X = S, Se, Te) в ближней УФ области. В спектрах изученных соединений в газовой фазе кроме полос ридберговской природы наблюдаются две полосы переходов σ → σ*-типа, который в ряду MeXEt меняются местами на энергетической шкале.
