Energy resources and electrical power

Description

This article presents an analysis of world energy consumption, focusing on electrical energy, a vector that has been emerging rapidly for around two centuries (a short period given the origins of mankind). An assessment of the world's reserves and resources of energy and non-energy raw materials (metals in particular), as well as annual flows of renewable resources, is proposed, along with a dynamic approach to needs. Finally, the role of electricity, its evolution and its main production methods are presented.
