Proposed experiments on the verification of the meson statistics

Description
A proposal is made to study interference phenomena in production of π+π0 or π-π0 pairs. Interference phenomena, which take place when the sizes of particles are much larger than the sizes of the production region, are considered for the case of coinciding momenta of two pians. It is pointed out, that the destructive interference due to the Fermi statistics for quarks, reveals itself up in all the experiments where pions are produced in small volumes. It is concluded that one has to know the momentum width Δp of the destructive interference in order to plan the experiments on investigation of the interference phenomena. The upper bound, Δp<= 500 MeV/c, is obtained
