Two-point spectral modelling of a compressible turbulence

Description

Within the framework of studies of mixture turbulence models requiring information on the turbulence spectrum, the author reports the generalisation of a model for incompressible turbulence to the case of varying-density compressible flows. He presents the Navier Stokes equations for a mixture of compressible flows, the equations of average density and average velocity, equations for turbulent parts, terms of two-point correlation, equations of evolution of these terms, the passage into Fourier transform for these terms, approximations of different orders for these terms, a study for a turbulent low Mach number. He finally presents the modelling and the integration of all previously developed equations
