Catalytic degradation of methylene blue dye by zingiber officinale mediated silver nanoparticles
Creators
- 1. Laser-Spectroscopy Laboratory, Department of Applied Physics, Delhi Technological University, Delhi (India)
Description
Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized via aqueous-based green method using Zingiber Officinale as a precursor and reducing/stabilizing agent, which neither require high temperature nor toxic chemicals to produce spherical and well-distributed nanoparticles. The AgNPs were examined using different techniques, which further used as a catalyst for the degradation of dyes. (author)
