The refining method of kaolin from iron compounds
Description
With the purpose of increasing the degree of extraction of iron compounds from kaolin and increasing the quality of kaolin and its products the refining method was elaborated. It comprises sorting, crushing, grinding, sifting and magnet separation. Before the magnet separation the raw material is undergone the ionization-thermal treatment in gamma-ray field at 300-500 C with the dose not less than 5 M Rad. (author)
