Neutrino experiments at nuclear reactors

  • 1. Technische Univ. Muenchen, Garching (Germany). Physikdepartment

Description

In this review experiments performed at nuclear reactors are discussed. The goal of these experiments is the search for non standard properties of the neutrino, like the search for masses and mixing and the measurement of neutrino reaction cross-sections. For this, neutrino electron scattering, the inverse beta decay reaction, as well as the neutral and charged current reaction of neutrinos on deuterons are discussed. New proposals in this field are mentioned. (Author)
