Cosmic ray variations in Earth's magnetosphere near geomagnetic cutoff

Description

The cosmic rays penetration from the interplanetary space into the Earth magnetosphere depth near the geomagnetic threshold. The conditions of forming the particle flux variations, connected with the changes in the threshold rigidity by the magnetosphere perturbations are identified. The methods, based on the numerical of the charged particles trajectories in the geomagnetic field, are applied in the given work

Abstract (Russian)

Изучено проникновение космических лучей из межпланетного пространства вглубь магнитосферы Земли вблизи геомагнитного порога. Выявлены условия формирования вариации потоков частиц, связанных с изменениями пороговой жесткости при возмущениях магнитосферы. В работе использованы методы, основанные на численном моделировании траекторий заряженных частиц в геомагнитном поле
