Electromagnetic radiation of synchrotron beam in the field of short magnets

Description
Dipole electromagnetic radiation of synchrotron beam in a magnetic field sharply inhomogeneous by azimuth is considered. Based on the analytical calculation of magnetic field of plane short rectangular magnetics radiation spectral-angular characteristics are obtained and analysed. It is shown that radiation spectral density grows exponentially with the reduction of a gap between magnetic poles. A possibility of applying such a system for beam monitoring in the UNK is considered
