SCPRI (Service Central de Protection Contre les Rayonnements) has a prominent part in the monitoring of nuclear facilities in France but the data that it publishes about the personnel dosimetry and the radioactivity measurements in the environment are in the beginning of controversial discussions. The author analyses this situation and suggests reforms for more efficiency and openness
