Description
Elastic-scattering angular distributions are presented for the 40Ca+48Ca system at Ec.m.=59.5 and 63.1 MeV. Qualitative agreement is observed at both energies with a coupled-channels calculation that includes inelastic-scattering and single-nucleon transfer channels, together with an additional positive Q-value channel with coupling strength adjusted to fit the sub-barrier fusion yield
