Improbability of collinear solutions in the n-body problem with generalized attraction law
Creators
Description
It is shown that in the n-body problem with generalized attraction law the set of initial conditions which lead to collinear motion is of Lebesque measure zero and nowhere dense with respect to the set of initial conditions that define solutions in three- or two-dimensional Euclidean space.
