Description
The welding of thick-walled containers is discussed under the aspects of construction and design, materials selection, choice and qualification of the method of production, the production process and testing, using the example of reactor components. It is shown how the welding construction can be optimized by using selected materials in connection with optimum, continuously controlled production and processing methods. (GSCH)

Das Schweissen dickwandiger Behaelter wird am Beispiel von Reaktorkomponenten unter den Aspekten der Konstruktion und Auslegung, Werkstoffwahl, Wahl und Qualifizierung des Fertigungsverfahrens, Fertigungsablauf und Pruefung betrachtet. Es wird gezeigt, wie durch Einsatz ausgewaehlter Werkstoffe in Verbindung mit optimalen kontinuierlichen ueberprueften Herstellungs- und Verarbeitungsverfahren die Schweisskonstruktion optimiert werden kann.
