Analysis of resonances in heavy ion reactions as barrier region resonances
Creators

Description
The resonance states generated by the finite range truncated parabolic barrier are numerically studied. In this case, the location of resonances in the vicinity of the barrier are approximately equispaced but deviation for this feature occurs for resonances farther away from the barrier top. Using these results as a basis we empirically analyse the resonances in the 16O + 16O and 24Mg + 24Mg systems within the broad framework of barrier region resonance model.
