Capabilities of magnetic resonance imaging in diagnosis of renal tumors

Description
MR unit (Toshiba) was used to examine 45 patients aged 30-79 having renal tumors. MRI allows to reveal the tumors measuring from 1 cm at pre-clinical stage. Determining the state of the collateral kidney facilitates the choice of the surgical technique. Direct correlation of the size of the lymph modes and the size of the tumor was revealed
