Electron injection system investigation into model compressor of collective accelerator of JINR

Description
A number of model experiments were performed on injection systems for electron injection into a rapidly-varying weak-focusing magnetic field. Experiments with a model compressor showed that various injection systems provided a sufficiently effective capture of one or several coils of injected current. For a further increase of efficiency, the collective effects on the process of capture and on beam stability must be taken into account
